Privately, I love to be active in sports, especially as a balance to the professional challenges. On this page I would like to introduce the most important and exciting sports for me, but I can not list everything here (also because gym etc. would not be so interesting).
Ski Riding
In winter it is very clear, skiing is the number one sport par excellence. He is physically demanding and makes a lot of fun. I’ve been skiing since I’m in 4th grade and got my first real ski gear at Christmas. Since that time, my driving style has also become increasingly refined. Even if I can not spend so much time to ski off the slopes since school, every year at least 1 week ski vacation in it and an absolute must. For the techies among us, I currently drive Atomic metron 10 ppl skis, which are only recommended for advanced piste bunnies.
Judo
Judo is the optimal sport to be able to switch to free time, at the same time it strengthens his self-confidence and his own stamina. From the first grade onwards I started judo and did only minor interruptions up to the 11th grade, during this time I had some successes and made it to the second Kyo, as well as to the Landesliege. After a break of several years, I started fighting again this year at SV Blau-Gelb Darmstadt e.V., where it is already clear that one was not active for some time.
Mountain Biking
During my college time, I discovered the fun of biking with a fellow student, especially through unspoilt terrain and best of all still downhill. Even if it is not as extreme as you know Moutainbiking on TV, cycling is a really cool hobby. And whoever has already raced downhill with his bike, knows the unbelievably corrective feeling when you reach the bottom – with aching wrists and forearms, but a big grin on his lips. Now that I have been living in Darmstadt for some time, where there is no really suitable mountain in the immediate vicinity, I drive only across the landscape, but not so often down the hill. The main thing is fun and hard.
Kickboxing
Some time ago I started kickboxing, just because you can work out a lot better and so get the head free. The training itself is accordingly “exhausting”, so that you know exactly what you did in the days. I run Kickboxing in the Budo-Do-Tameshi Darmstadt e.V. and it can z.Z. recommend without restrictions.
Another interest is traveling, even if it gets often a bit too short.
