SemaVis for Digital Libraries
Those who recognize the signs of the times have an advantage in the market. The sooner this is possible, the better. The group Semantic Visualization at Fraunhofer IGD has developed a solution to detect and evaluate market trends at an early stage.
SemaVis Visualization Cockpits
The SemaVis framework is being developed as part of the THESEUS program, a research program initiated by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) with the aim of simplifying access to information. As a basic technology, the SemaVis framework under the direction of the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics (IGD) offers a modular and adaptive framework for the visualization of semantic data.
WiiGesture
Modern technologies and techniques are constantly opening up new possibilities for visualizing information on the Web. More and more graphic visualizations associated with fashion names such as Rich Internet Applications (RIA) play an important role. Parallel to this change on the Web, the growing use of alternative interaction devices can be observed. These interaction devices provide a more intuitive interaction metaphor through the use of natural human behavior, such as gesture recognition.
